Greetings hockey fans and welcome to another fantastic edition of Hockey News BPHL: Special Edition Vol: 5.08.  Silver and Double Snot Bubbles squared off last Thursday for their second game of the young season.

Silver was able to keep the game close through two periods before falling by a total of 4 - 7.  The Silver goaltender carousel continued with their league record 5th different goalie in seven games.  Mullendore paced Silver with two goals while Voss and Parrone added one apiece.  The loss kept Silver in the cellar for the time being, but do not expect them to stay there all season.  This team just has too much heart for that to happen.

The PLARSHMT & OBMASLF are not awarded in losses.  Alex Cooper worked his tail off in all facets of the game to win the Faceoff Chain for a fifth consecutive game.  This still does not make up for his previous absence and the team stated that his fine is still outstanding and starting to accrue interest.

Greetings hockey fans and welcome to another swell edition of Hockey News BPHL: Special Edition Vol: 5.07.  Silver and Red went head to head this past Monday in the early game of the BPHL slate.  Silver was looking to avenge a SOL from earlier in the season and got on the board twice in the first period and never surrendered the lead.

Silver was again led by Zach Voss, who netted his second consecutive hat trick - a natural in the second period.  Mullendore and Blaszkiewicz also rounded out the scoring.  Rob Barton had a career night with three helpers.  Goaltender Tyler Grosche was solid in net to get his first victory of the season by turning away 26 of 30 shots.

Hockey News! Special Edition Vol: 5.06

Greetings hockey fans and welcome to another super edition of Hockey News BPHL: Special Edition Vol: 5.06.  Silver and Black met for the second time this season on Thursday, 27 November.  Black brought the same full effort and roster that they always do, but Silver was ready this time.  After a lopsided first period, Silver fought back in the second period to knot the score at 5 - 5, getting the equalizer on a Mullendore power play goal at 11:55 of the 2nd period. After exchanging a couple goals apiece in the 3rd, the crazy, high-scoring, back and forth game, ended tied after regulation at 7 - 7.

After Black scored and Coop missed in the first round of the shootout, Silver goalie stoned the final two Black attempts and Bednarz and New Mitch led Silver to the shootout victory!

Silver is back in action on Monday, 7 November at RALSTON Arena at 7:00 PM.  If you haven't been to the BRAND NEW BPHL WEBSITE yet, please go and check it out.  Slattery Design has really outdone themselves.  Thanks to a great scheduling snafu, the entire BPHL took last week off to rake leaves across the community.  Together, they bagged 1,800 tons of leaves out of Ralston yards.  Silver and Red will match up for the second time this season with Red winning the first contest in a shootout.  It is the first Monday of MOVEMBER.  Free tickets to anyone with visible mustache after 7 days of no shaving.  Also, free prostate exams will be conducted in the Red dressing room pre- and post-game - although that is not related to MOVEMBER.
