Hockey News! Special Edition Vol: 4.02

This is the 100th posting of the news articles from the Beer and Pretzel Hockey League written by the beat writer that covers the league.  He calls himself Dickie Dunn - his true identity is unknown.

Greetings hockey fans and welcome to another PRECIOUS METALS edition of Hockey News BPHL: Special Edition Vol: 4.02.  Silver and Red played their season opener two weeks ago and it was a sight to behold.  Silver scored early and often to jump out to a lead they would never surrender.  The final score made the game look closer then it was at 8 - 6.  Also, the last few goals let some breathe a sigh of relief while others cursed aloud.

The PLARSHMT & OBMASLF (and Faceoff Chain) were awarded to Zach Voss after a stellar performance, scoring many goals and looking like his offseason training program should have been followed more closely by the rest of the roster.  When asked about this Voss was quoted as saying, "My body is a temple and I treat it as such.  Some of my teammates bodies seem to be treated more like a garbage dump."

Hockey News! Special Edition Vol: 4.01

This is the 99th posting of the news articles from the Beer and Pretzel Hockey League written by the beat writer that covers the league.  He calls himself Dickie Dunn - his true identity is unknown.

Greetings hockey fans and welcome to another season preview article of Hockey News BPHL: Special Edition Vol: 4.01.  Silver and Gold met in the second round of the playoffs in what turned out to be the end of Silver's 2020 season.  The loss entrenched Silver into a 1st place finish (dare I say CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON) in the playoffs for teams not stacked with several former NCAA Division I hockey players and even some professionals - mirroring their regular season place finish of 1st.  Well done on a successful season!

The PLARSHMT & OBMASLF (and Faceoff Chain) were awarded to the entire team for a stellar playoff performance and championship win.  Great season fellas!

Let's move on to the 2021 BPHL Silver Team preview!  Silver team is bringing back a large majority of the 2020 roster with some MAJOR additions.  Rumor has it that the Silver front office has inked Owen Stauber to a rookie contract and they have also come to terms with long-time league veteran (and the Silver Helmet Memorial Trophy namesake) L.A. Ross.  Silver is back in action with their first game against Red on Monday, 04 October at RALSTON Arena at 9:45 PM.  There is not much known about the 2021 Red Roster - tread lightly if making any wagers tonight.  Come on down to the Ralston Arena, bring the kids!  We've got entertainment for the whole family.

Red Key Players/Trends/Injuries:  Lowndes.  Little trend data is available but it slightly favors Silver.  Lowndes (Probable - got rid of the oversized hat he found backstage which was funny - because it is bigger then a normal hat).
